Care and Cleaning

The quality of the leather and hardware used in The Link Leash should require very little maintenance.  However, even the best leash can be destroyed by a few good chomps in a dog’s mouth.  Do not let your dog chew on The Link Leash.  Avoid exposing your Link Leash to excess moisture, heat, and cold for extended periods of time.

If your Link Leash requires cleaning, saddle soap or leather cleaner can be purchased at most grocery stores near the shoe polish.  Leather conditioner can be applied to restore the softness if the leash becomes stiff due to extreme climate or moisture exposure.

If the Stainless Steel snap hooks become stiff, place a drop of oil in the hook and snap it a few times.
